Welcome to the South Coast Triathlon Club.

We offer monthly seminars as well as weekly training runs and bicycle rides of varying length and intensity. We also provide thirteen weekly swim workouts through South Coast Masters.

Our goal is to be an all-inclusive tri club catering to all levels of triathletes and potential triathletes, and to help educate and contribute to their growth.


WEEKLY RUNNING PROGRAM OFF TO A GREAT START!
On Thursday, February 24th, the new running interval training program got off to a super start at Moorpark College’s stadium lighted track. The program is outlined below:

Program Segments:
6:15 – 6:35: warm up with easy jog & drills
6:35 – 6:40: announcements & review of evening workout plan
6:40 – 7:25: training (interval or tempo)
7:25 – 7:45: cool down jog with core exercises & stretching drills

General Info

  • Place: Moorpark College stadium track (Collins Rd. exit off the 118 Freeway; park off of Collins alongside stadium)
  • Time: 6:15 – 7:45 PM
  • When: Thursday nights
  • Training type: tempo and interval
  • Training to accommodate goals of: 5K/10K, half/full marathon and beyond
  • Cost: free to SC Master’s members, and Tri Club members
  • What to bring: water or fluid replacement, layered clothing
  • Eligibility: SC Tri Club members (please bring your USAT member card your first night), & guests of SCTC (please let us know ahead of time)
  • Private running lessons and plans available from Coach Smith
